Cleaning Recommendations
Your Lagree equipment represents a significant investment. Keeping it clean not only enhances its appearance but also contributes to a better experience for your clients.
Every studio operates differently, and cleaning products, local regulations, and environmental conditions vary from one location to another. For that reason, Lagree Fitness does not require or endorse any specific cleaning product or cleaning protocol.
That said, based on our experience, we recommend the following best practices:
- Wipe down contact surfaces after each class using a soft microfiber cloth.
- Avoid abrasive pads, steel wool, or harsh scrubbing materials that may scratch painted or anodized surfaces.
- Avoid spraying cleaning solutions directly onto electronic components, connectors, lights, or motors. Instead, apply the cleaner to the cloth first, then wipe the surface.
- Avoid excessive moisture around electrical components.
- Periodically remove dust, hair, and debris from the carriage rails, wheels, and other moving parts.
- If using disinfectants, follow the manufacturer’s instructions and ensure the product is compatible with the materials being cleaned.
- Test any new cleaning product on a small, inconspicuous area before applying it to the entire machine.
A Note About Cleaning Products
Studios use a wide variety of disinfectants and cleaning agents, and new products are introduced regularly. Because Lagree Fitness cannot evaluate every product available worldwide, we encourage each studio to select cleaning products that are appropriate for its local requirements and compatible with the materials on the equipment.
Regular Inspection
While cleaning the equipment, it is also a good opportunity to visually inspect the machine for loose hardware, excessive wear, damaged components, or anything that may require attention. Addressing small issues early can help maintain the equipment in excellent operating condition.
