You Spoke, the Lagree Fitness Team Listened
When the Lagree Fitness Micro launched, we knew the machine would gain a fanbase of its own, but when we learned that many studio owners wanted a more refined, taller, more permanent-style Micro intended for studio-use, we got to work. With the great demand for an increased height for the Micro in mind, the Micro Pro has been designed to receive the Lagree Lift Kit, increasing the overall height of the Micro Pro 16 inches, allowing for an even greater range of Lagree exercises.
The Micro Pro Claims Its Permanence
Because the Micro Pro is not nearly as mobile or portable as the Micro, Micro Pro owners should plan to place their Micro Pro in an area that it will remain for a long period of time. While the Micro Pro does not need to be bolted to the ground, its base weight, weighing in at a hefty 103 pounds compared to the Micro at 50 pounds, makes the Micro Pro more stationary than its predecessor.
The Micro Pro’s Carriage and Front Platform
While the Micro Pro’s carriage is the same size as the Micro, the area has been redesigned with the removal of the Ring of Fire in order to expand the padded area of the carriage. Additionally, the front platform remains the same size as its predecessor but includes more padding and half the Ring of Fire with new anchoring points for the hands and feet.
Micro or Micro Pro?
Because the Micro and Micro Pro are intended for two separate purposes, it is important to evaluate your personal or studio needs before choosing a model. A Lagree Fitness instructor looking to train clients or entire group classes in homes or hotels should select the Micro as this model is much more portable and lighter. However, for a studio owner looking to elevate the overall look of their studio with machines that are off the ground and have a more permanent presence and style, the Micro Pro is the perfect machine.

I love deadlifts with the back platform lifted.
It’s still small enough that it doesn’t take up too much space, I have a micro and a micro Pro at home.
The platforms and the carriage are bigger and more comfortable than the micro.
I preferred the thiner handle bars of the micros handles but I prefer the sturdiness and easy to clip on micro Pro handles.
It was quick and easy to assemble and I love that it comes with the pulley cables.
I’m looking forward to when I can use the tempo lights.
I’m very happy that international delivery only took five days from California to Sydney.

I had a 2020 Micro later upgraded to an elevated MiniPro. After wanting a smaller footprint in my home, the new MicroPro is the best of both worlds. You have a smaller portable footprint but still get raised platform and carnage as bigger machines. The raising front platform and carriage are game changers to your workout. You no longer need to fight with the carriage straps to stabilize your feet. Your feet stay put and you avoid over extending you knee. Raising front platform all the way up is a more comfortable option than pushing against the handle bars as well for the ball of your feet. The new pulley cables with the wider distance from side of carriage eliminates issues with the cable rubbing against the carriage when doing things such as frogger and scrambled egg. Also the cable clips to the carriage make it faster to take off and on. The eliminate of side ring of fire rails feels better on my hands to grip the platters and carriage. The larger front and back of the ring of fire feels much better on my feet and no discomfort in my hands gripping. Back platform and handles have not arrived; however, I am excited about the stability of the handlebars and the smaller footprint of them. I’m tall with long legs and looking forward to the slightly longer length of the machine which will avoid carriage bumping. The larger carriage and platform from elimination of the side ring of fire gives me extra room for things such as scrambled egg and bear. Having built an elevated MiniPro once, I loved the new simple 60 second process of installing the front platform. Fantastic. The MicroPro is very quiet and smooth. I’ve been a Lagree devotee since 2018 and am pushing 60. Traditional workouts can bulk me up. Lagree has kept me lean and mean with lots of lean muscle definition. The Lagree method never gets easier but I have never had an injury with the method and workout minimum 5 days a week. I am ecstatic about this new machine. Welcome Home MicroPro!

This is a fantastic machine for home use! I started practicing the Lagree method training about two years ago through a studio who adopted the training method. I average out about 6 classes a month but wish I could afford more. Since I started having back pain and spine issues a few years ago I’ve had to move to low impact workouts but missed the high intensity level and then I found this reformer and training method that focused on endurance and strengthening. I was able to hit muscle groups like core, obliques, outer glutes, center glutes, hamstrings and inner thighs in a way I couldn’t before. My body has leaned out significantly but I also gained muscle mass like in my glutes, and my back and overall feeling of my body aches and pains have improved so much. This has been the best exercise training I’ve been missing thats low impact but high intensity. I wish I had known about this when I was in my 20s and I wouldn’t have caused so much damage to my back. I received the machine last week, the front platform arrived just today (so it does get shipped separately) and it’s great! I’m already sore from having used it. Customer service too were good and responsive on questions I had. The springs are a lot stronger than I expected, but I did buy an extra grey spring for days I can switch out for a heavier workout. Personally I already know I will add the rear platform and at least one pair of handle bars, so that’ll be a later purchase. The machine overall is solid and can be wheeled around the room easily. I certainly couldn’t lift it so not sure where I’ll store it yet. I did spend a long time listening to Sebastian’s videos comparing machines and that helped a ton. He did one with the micro and micro pro and for me it was a no brainer to get this one for home. I like the bigger platforms as I’m small enough to lay on the carriage and I wanted a bigger platform for my feet. This is just a phenomenal machine, just get it! That base unit with the grey spring and a strap with shipping was under $1800 and my budget was 2k so I’m a very happy customer! Thanks Lagree!
